Perception starts without a manual launch
The camera-to-event pipeline survived a controlled reboot and began recording confirmed presence on its own.

After manual and service-lifecycle checks, RC-01’s perception service was enabled for boot. The system was rebooted and observed without manually starting perception.
The service became active at 10:01:42 a.m. Eastern. A confirmed-person event followed roughly two seconds later, and the boot journal and saved event stream provided the evidence. The observed boot recorded zero automatic restarts; final health was 42.8°C with no throttling.
The qualified path ran from the wide camera through Hailo inference, then through the presence-validation gate into structured logs. General object accuracy, stable coverage of every posture, and long-duration fault recovery were still outside this milestone.
